Resale of Medical Textbooks and Prep Materials
1.  Legality of Resale & Statutory Compliance
This platform facilitates the resale of legally purchased, original, physical refurbished (second-hand) medical textbooks, reference materials, and test preparation books. The buying and selling of these used physical items is 100% legal in India and is strictly protected under Section 14(a)(ii) of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.
Under the statutory Explanation to Section 14, once an original copy of a work is sold, it is legally deemed a "copy already in circulation." Consequently, the publisher's exclusive right to restrict further distribution is legally exhausted (under the Doctrine of First Sale). The lawful owner of the physical book retains the absolute legal right to resell, donate, or transfer ownership of that specific copy.
2. Absolute Prohibition of Piracy and Digital Infringement
This platform maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward copyright infringement. We strictly prohibit the listing, distribution, or sale of:
Unauthorized photocopies, counterfeit books, or pirated prints.
Digital materials, including PDFs, scanned copies, e-books, shared online drive links, or unauthorized recordings of video lectures.
Material protected under End-User License Agreements (EULAs) that strictly forbid physical transfer.
3. Intellectual Property Rights Notice
All product names, logos, brands, and trademarks (such as MBBS titles, NEET-PG/INICET/FMGE prep brand names, and publisher names) are the property of their respective copyright and trademark owners. The use of these names on this platform is solely for the purpose of identifying the specific second-hand books being offered for resale by individual student users and does not imply any affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement by the publishers.

Where We Deliver  

•    We ship PAN India — wherever you are, your books will reach you.  

•    Please make sure to provide a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout to avoid any delays.

HOW IT WORKS:

It quite simple proces:

 

  1. As you submit the google form, we'll list your books within 24 hours of form submission, and your book will be available for sale to all indian medical students.

  2. Then as soon as we recieve an order for your book, we'll contact you directly through your provided contact details, and you just need to courier your books to our store house in vadodara(will share you the address).

  3. We will pay 100% courier charge to you as soon as you share the courier reciept. And will ship the book further form our store house, reaching finally to your juniors!

Free Shipping on Orders Above ₹1999 (All across India)    

•    For all PAN India orders, free shipping applies automatically when your cart value crosses ₹1999.

 •    It usually takes 5-8 days for your books to reach you! We are trying our best to reduce the time required for the delivery of the books!

 Shipping Address Guidelines

To ensure smooth delivery, please provide:  

•    Full Name    

•    Full Street Address (including house/apartment number, building name, society, etc.)    

•    Landmark (if any)    

•    City, State, Postal Code    

•    Contact Number

Incomplete addresses may cause shipment delays or failed deliveries.

T&C (general)

(mandatory instructions to get a listed book for sale / or to list your book for sale on the site)

 

  1. Free delivery option applicable on all the  orders with minimum order value above ₹1999.

  2. Listing price is mandatory to list your book on the site, so that its available for sale to the users.

  3. Listing price is 100% refundable as soon as order for your listed book is confirmed.

  4. Once book purchased cannot be returned or refunded, so do check all the details regarding the book before placing the order.

  5. The listing price shall not be refunded in case of non availability of the book with the owner at the time of confirmation of the order.

  6. Prices of the books will be decided on the basis of condition of the book and price of the latest edition of the book.

  7. As the current edition of the books are updated, the prices of the books are subjected to vary accordingly.

  8. Payment methods acceptable: UPI PAYMENT METHOD - GOOGLE PAY, PAYTM, PHONE PAY, ETC. OR DEBIT/CREDIT PAYMENT OPTIONS AVAIALABLE.

  9. The book belongs to your seniors, so it might be of older edition, but we will try to provide the nearest edition to the current edition.

  10. Please fill all the details correctly as incomplete/ incorrect entries might lead to cancellation of your book order.

  11. No negotiations policy as all the prices of the book are according to condition and current edition of your listed book.

  12. Books added by you in gform will be listed within 24 hours on the site: therentallibrary.in
